Celestial-cranial Instrument: Sutural Zodiac draws on the developmental structure of the human skull. Composed of multiple bony plates joined by fontanelles and sutures, the neonatal skull features open gaps that gradually fuse over the course of human development, inscribing a unique “corporeal map”. Materializing cranial sutures across different developmental stages, the artist transforms these void-like structures into twelve abstract sculptures with progressive variation and arranges these units along an arc of light in space.
