The Come-and-go of Dusk: Deepened/Fallen
color-tempered glass, wooden cabinet, LED light, mechanic installation, reflective material
As the artist reads through the wide-ranging representations of dusk in literature, she realizes that its beginning and end have never been agreed on – they seem to change according to the season, weather, location, and mindset of the observer. How does dusk descend? When is it over? In this work, the artist tries to mark its turning points with ever-shifting light in order to provide a perceivable reference for this immeasurable period of time.
